Why Titanium?
Titanium has proved to have excellent corrosion resistance, superior
strength-to-weight ratios, unbelievable erosion resistance, and
incredible high heat transfer efficiency.
Titanium is long lasting. The corrosion resistance of titanium is due
to a stable, protective and strongly adherent oxide film which forms
instantly when a fresh surface is exposed to air or moisture. Titanium
is capable of naturally healing this film and has a longer life than
most metallic elements because of this.
The heat conductivity of titanium is nearly identical to that of
stainless steel, but its weight is almost half of stainless steel's
making it ideal for backpacking equipment. It is light, efficient and
easy to take anywhere. In addition to the light weight features
titanium has to offer, it is totally non-toxic, easy to clean and does not change the taste of the tea.

We were looking to source a bamboo whisk that was small enough to pack
for an outdoors trip or to use at work, we found this beauitful one. It
stands 8.5 cm tall and comes with its own box.
Yugen, "Infinite Way" Matcha Tea
Yugen,
"infinite way," thin grade matcha is grown in the Uji, Kyoto region.
This premium matcha is used in combination with teabowl and whisk. It
tastes best made in the thin style. Use 2 bamboo tea scoops (or 1
teaspoon) to 1.5 ounces of hot water per serving. When tasting this
matcha, we found an excellent balance of astringency and sweetness.
